Sabrina Blackburry lives a quiet life in central Missouri with her husband and son. She enjoys walking nature trails, playing tabletop games, visiting coffee shops, and participating in the local renaissance festival. Raised by her grandparents who are now gone, she maintains a close relationship with her mother and three sisters. She credits her grandfather’s imagination for the birth of her storytelling.

With an early passion for fantasy and books, she began writing seriously in her twenties leading to her debut novel Dirty Lying Faeries in 2022. Always with fantasy elements, her books focus on characters finding their place in the world, and telling stories of love with a touch of magic. Sabrina’s favorite part of writing is filling the meat of the story with side characters that can enhance the plot and main characters. She believes when a character is never wholly good or evil, that is when they can flourish.

“I believe that the best stories are the ones that make you forget where you are for a little while. If all I manage to do in my career is make a few readers smile, I’ll have accomplished my dreams.”
